Don't forget to be in dress code if your work crew is during the Wrangler Rodeo this Saturday. Students working the barrel race do not have to be in dress code but all students working during the 2 Wrangler Rodeos must be in dress code. The work crew was mailed home but if you do not remember your assignment check the documents page. See you Saturday! |

Do not forget that we are having our annual CJRA Finals Silent Auction November 27, 28, and 29 at Riverside Rancheros. This event has raised $1000.00's of dollars in the past and is a huge asset to our District. You can bring your item to the Wrangler Rodeo the 22nd, send it with a CJRA member to the Finals or contact Jeannie Malone for other arrangements. All students who are working the Wrangler Division on Saturday please be on time or early to your work crew. Check the Work crew document to see what your assignment is. |

Congratulations District 8, we won the District team high point award! We won 5 events and placed in the top 10 in all the events. Results of our District placings are coming soon, the sheets have to be sorted manually by hand so please be patient. Big High Five to the Mid State Event winners; Barrels Kortney Cleveland, Bareback Robby Richardson, Goats Chelsea Pulcheon, Steer Wrestling Cole Bates, Tie Down Mason Malone. |

The Mid State Classic draw is in documents! If you have any trouble downloading it, go to chsrad7.org and download it there. Don't be late for Check in! Bring your membership card and some non-perishable food items for the D7 food drive. Wear red on Sunday to show D8 team spirit! |

The work crew for our 2 major fund raisers, Saturday November 22, Wrangler Rodeo and Barrel Race and Saturday February 7, San Pasqual Valley Ranch Roping, are in the documents section. If you did not sign up for a work crew, you were assigned one. If you have questions regarding this work crew contact an officer. |

Our September and October Cuttings went well. Thanks to everyone who helped sort, feed, and work the cattle all weekend. We thank the Booth Ranch for hosting us, John Tabak for being our stand-by EMT and Billy Burton and Barbie Madwick for judging. |

Dessert Auction on Oct 18th Saturday at the Zak’s Ranch (During the CJRA Rodeo) This will be a fundraiser for CJRA & CHSRA D#8. Please bring a dessert or some type of delicious snack. It will be a silent auction. Check your items in with Jeannie Malone. There will be a table set up. The Bidding will close at 2:00PM. |

The annual CHSRA D# Silent Auction will be held Nov28/29/30 at the Riverside Rancheros Arena (Held during the CJRA Finals) This is a fundraiser for D#8 High School and Wrangler Junior High Members. Let's make it the best one yet. Please plan on donating a fabulous item for the auction. It is a great place to do your Christmas shopping |
